Well, if a pilot damaged some of the TSA equipment would it have made a difference whether he or she did it intentionally or not? I think you know the answer…

Government employees on the other hand - they just swipe it under the rug and pretend like it never happened…

Believe me when I tell you!!! You CANNOT sue a government agency without the permission of the government. I had a bunch of those TSA (Thousands Standing Around, or Throwin' Stuff Away or Tub Stacker Association) idiots destroy my clothing and lost my electric razor on a CLE to TUL flight.They would not cover a thing because of the TSA Search Rights tag affixed to the handle, 2 days later when i finally got it back.
