This is not flamebait. I heard from an XJTer about a week ago that a vote was imminent on a 2.5ish% immediate cut followed by a one year freeze with all the normal "snapback" provisions. I have been watching these forums expecting to get the final details but have seen nothing. Any updates?

We won't know anything until the vote is done. The vote is in Nov.

Thumbs down

We've taken enough in this industry. Naturally I hope you can all keep your jobs but there NEEDS to be a stand taken - especially at the regional level. Don't give in!

Yeah and that stand should have been at Republic, Skywest, and Colgan management not to come in with cheaper labor to do the work. Thus, forcing our management to sign a crappy deal. Cue the excuses.

So you expect thier pilots to quit the second they hear their comapny is expanding... You think everyone should throw their jobs on the line to raise the bar until its you. I think you, tpersuit, are the one with the excuses.... too bad for you guys over there at XJT.

Best of luck to you all whichever way the vote goes.

Skywest has the best contract around. I'd take it in a heartbeat over anyone's.

You have no idea how a free market society works do you? Do you really think in your head that those companies listed by you would think "we could try and grow our company by picking up more flying for CAL but we do not want to upset XJet." Please!

To the rest of the Express Jet guys and gals, best of luck with everything. You guys have always been great with jumpseating (on us and me on you). Nice to see not everyone on the line is as narrow minded as some on this forum
