Question About the Regionals
#1
Just had a quick question about the regional airlines and Wholly-owned. I was curious as to which regional airlines are Wholly-owned and which are not. The only two that I know of are PSA and Piedmont. Any input would be great.

I saw someplace that the two USAir regionals have either a flowthrough or a preferential hiring... the latter being better in most cases, and especially in times like these with many places furloughing...
IE - if Midwest and RAH (midwest express) had a flowthrough/flowback... most of the RAH midwest express guys would be hitting the street soon....
so the furloughed Midwest guys could do the same job, in a slightly smaller plane, for alot less money with a corresponding loss of QOL.
yep, lets keep growing the regionals and getting bigger planes... we'll keep the same small wages, the lousy QOL and then management can use us to whipsaw mainline pilots all over the place... wonderfull idea right?
