also I hope we merge lists with Colgan because Im heading to Houston baby!
It almost sounds like you are not serious. There are Colgan pilots who do not want ALPA because they are under the incorrect assumption that PNCL pilots will "steal" the Q400's.

I hope you really dont think that you will pop on down to IAH if we merge, it is called fences and they will be in place.

All I can say is that Colgan went downhill fast after selling to 9E. And don't try and tell me "oh we wouldn't have gotten Q's". Those planes should not move with the pay rates. Colgan treated everyone better before they sold out. What a crappy company it has become. I don't know what it is like at 9e, but it sounds like it is getting better over there. Congrads to happy new Pinnacle guy.

There seem to be a lot of people on this forum in IAH ... Juice seems to know me, and if you're in IAH I'm sure you know me too ... wish I knew who more people were on here ... it would make things easier, lol

Training is good ... LOTS of studying, but good ... definitely learning a lot

Skidmark ... seriously, keep it to yourself ... everyone can complain about the company they are with (you make it sound like you're with Colgan as well), but what's it gonna do?! You do the best you can with what you have to work with, and if you can't do that, you go somewhere else, or do something else ... EVERY regional airline has gotten worse over the last year and a half in case you haven't noticed ... some of the "BADA$$" carriers people once thought were indestructible took a plunge and were forced to furlough a lot, and other carriers people regarded as "bad" sank but still managed not to furlough ... be happy you have a job ... it could always be worse

..sorry for the rant, just my two cents

Perhaps your right, I am just more than tired of fighting them for pay. Haven't you had enough?

Believe me, I know the pay sucks ... I've thought that since day one ... but it's also a job and a paycheck ... so I have a hard time complaining when I know there are so many pilots out there out of a job right now

I could be wrong, but I think skid might've been referring to the "errors" in pay credits, not our actual payscale (although that needs work too). I've actually met guys who don't care if their pay credit is correct, they never even check it. But I do care and I've fought with the company plenty about getting the correct credit. The whole bit is unnecessary and annoying and stressful, seriously starts to wear you down after the first 10 times.
Another problem before Honan came out with that pay credit memo was that there was such a lack of rules regarding pay credit and you could get nothing or something depending on if you talked to Chris v. Ginger (for example). Us as employees should know, at any given moment, exactly what we're getting paid. This was definitely not the case this past year and I think a lot of pilots were frustrated and fed up with that.
although, it's gotten a little better the past few months (I think...)

Just don't pick up any OT... that will save you the headache, and give you more time off!

well, that is true, lol.
but a lot of what I was referring to was regarding cancellation pay and hot reserve and runups/repos and that kind of stuff... that was a friggin mess. (not so much anymore now that it's spelled out that we're not getting any hot reserve or runup pay!)
