If you think hauling 70 pax over 1000 miles is a "Regional" leg, you deserve to be in an RJ.

If it's raining and you get wet before you get on it,...it might be a regional jet.

If you get to use the line "That's what she said" at least ten times a day.

…it might be a regional jet

…If you are flying around 70 passenger for 50 seat pay.
…If you have to call for 400 lbs. of ballast.
…If you lower the landing gear and it sounds like the whole gear got ripped off (CRJ2)
…If you fly a nine leg day with no lunch break.
…If the FO raids the galley cart just to get some food for free.
…If you are taken to your plane by a bus.
…If the FO is talking on his cell phone next to the APU during his walkaround.
…If it says “operated by” next to the door.
…If the FO thinks that his crappy regional airline is better than the other guys’ crappy airline.
…If the FO is reading the APC Regional board on his iPhone during a turnaround.

If when talking about wake turbulence your FO mentions catching his own wake on his commercial ride 6 months ago.....You’re probably on an RJ

If your FO shows the FAA his high school diploma while being ramp checked.....you might be flying an RJ

If you have been flying for two years and have more turbine time than prop time....your on an RJ

If your FO after preflight says I always thought the jet would be "Shinier"......you’re on an RJ

If a guy you signed off for his private is a line holder and you are furloughed…..you were on an RJ

If the foreign students that you trained and signed off are flying bigger equipment and making more money, you must be flying a regional jet.

If you can't spare your room key because you are going back to the EXACT SAME hotel every night of the trip, it might be a RJ.

If it's raining and you get wet before you got on, you are out of breath because you are an overweight/out of shape ND who almost tripped and broke your hip walking up the stairs carrying your bags to the cockpit, it might be a FedEx/UPS MD-11.

Don't get excited, it's a joke.

If you lie and tell people you fly for (XXXX mainline company), instead of having to explain once again for 15-minutes how the regionals work, you might be on a regional jet...

If you're dumb enough to tell people you are an airline pilot, there is not maybe about it.
