Regardless of how they are treated the employees will always do their very best given the required training, support, and tools required. That support is entirely in the hands of management.

Voting yes for this TA is simply a vote of confidence for the way management has conducted itself in the past. The vast majority of people in this company are very hard working individuals who have continued professionally under incredibly harsh working conditions and who will continue do their very best. The demoralizing management practices of the past will only continue if you choose to accept them. The results of requiring the employees to continue under these conditions are that management will eventually exhaust all of its resources. If you want to continue understaffed, overworked, undertrained, and under appreciated then vote yes. If you want to send a clear message that now is the time to make changes and bring some integrity to your profession then vote no.

The only way this company will survive is if we demand better. Demand better management, demand better working conditions, demand better training, demand better maintenance, and demand better support in the field. With the appropriate contract and under the proper leadership this company will easily survive. To continue on the old path we've been on has an obvious conclusion.

DEMAND BETTER! DON'T BE AFRAID! VOTE NO!

This is what I've been saying all along. Nothing more or less.

If Mesa pilots choose to live on their knees becasue of J.O.'s fear campaign or the erronous belief it will save their jobs, then they only deserve what they've asked for.

At least SOMEONE out there gets it.

Ummm....... unless I missed something (not likely on this one) the majority of mesa posters have all reiterated the same mantra vote no.

I'm not so sure the TA will pass. I can tell you that I have heard very few 'yes's' in a sea full of 'no's' around the crew rooms and in the airplanes. I don't think any current Mesa pilot wants to see this company go under, but I think we've all seen what the company will do with lose language and a swiss cheese contract. Push is coming to shove and I think Mesa pilots are finally going to stand for what is right and vote this thing down. According to ALPA figures three-fourths of current Mesa employees were not around when the last contract was up for vote. That's 75% of our pilots which had no say in their QOL at this company. It's going to be that same three-fourths that vote this contract down. I give this TA a very low chance of success based on what I am hearing from fellow pilots.

Time to cue up "We're Not Gonna Take It" by Twisted Sister on the iPod, sit back, and ruminate in my rebelliousness.
