It just frustrating to see ppl from Mesaba and such who sat reserve for maybe a month rub their monthly endeavors in the face of people like me that really irritates me. Great you barely sat reserve, but why don't you show some class while you are at. Everyone is going to have to sit reserve sometime in their career. If it isn't now, it most certainly will be later on down the road in your career.

I hear you......... Spike "Jerry’s Kool-Aid" with something good, sit back, eat some turkey and enjoy your family and friends.

BTW, here’s a joke a really good friend of mine told me:

“If the Indians had given the Pilgrims a donkey instead of a turkey, we’d all be getting a piece of ass this thanksgiving.”

Hahahahahha................I love it.

I wouldnt worry too much about the guys at XJ that only sat reserve for a little while. The exact same thing happened at every other regional out there not more than a year ago. It was the Mesaba guys who were sitting reserve for quite a long time before our current hiring boom. There are FO's on the 200 that will sit reserve for a long time. Dont get irritated by them, its not as bad as you think it is.

Too bad in about 2-3 months you will have about 35 ATR FOs ahead of you, so maybe your schedule won't be looking so hot after that.

I just read the email from the MEC and they say the red arrows this far out have no meaning -

from the email: “down arrow” days... are posted on the bidding software before the reserve coverage is uploaded in the system. This provides a false indication of “low coverage days” and is sending an incorrect message to the pilots when they see this...

So I'm going back to edit the original post.. but figured most of 'ya wouldn't notice an edit that far back. So there ya go!

I'm just curious what the DOH for the most junior captain is at ASA. I was a 10/05 hire, and I'm wondering if I would've been holding a Capt spot had I stayed.

Looks like August '05 is the most junior.
