But is he going back to FO, with the downgrades, because I know a couple of ATR CAs who were hired in 04/05 and are being downgraded.

Not sure, but he's a captain for december, because I looked at the december awards to find Aug. '05

Just curious, what's the hire date of the most JR FO at ASA?

I am pretty sure the last class was May 08. I was in the 2nd to last class in Mar 08.

According to the July 08 seniority list, the very last person on the list was hired May 5, 2008, and he is number 1731.

Aren't the ATR's going away soon? Won't that create an over-staffing without the addition of jets?

I sat reserve at Mesa for 3 weeks last year. It was nice. Although right now I have crap 80 hours lines with 12 days off. This summer was good. 90-95 hours with 14 days off a month or so.

But I'd much rather sit on reserve at ASA (I live in ATL) working for a good carrier like them, then working at Mesa right now.

<---- jealous :p

Where have you been? They have been slowly going away since September, the lasts one will officially be done on December 1st. Though they have me on reserve after that for some reason, so much for the paid vacation!

So you are going to be sitting reserve on an airplane that we will no longer operate? Not a bad gig my friend, not bad at all.

not to hijack the thread but at eagle in the northeast on reserve we're flying like 10-20 hours a month...this month i've flown twice for a total of 7 hrs...there's no flying to do yet they have a buncha guys on reserve everyday...it sucks....we re hearing they may hire in january...or they may hire in july...who knows
