9E is now where close to obtaining a new contract. There are too many open items still left on the table. Good luck in 2011 on your TA.

Alright so personally, I feel that Pinnacle will not be running anymore New hire classes in the near future or in the spring/summer either. It was likely to happen if they were to get more flying for the summer, but with yesterdays announcement from delta that they plan to cut another 8-9 % domestic capacity in 2009, I highly doubt theres any chance for growth or more flying to come 9E's way. obviously this is just a personal opinion of mine, and its sad since I myself am waiting for a class in the pool, so I hope I'm wrong. The only one thing that might force 9E to do at least one NH class is attrition. which I have no clue how the rate has been recently over the last month or so.

Since a huge part of 9E's fleet consists of the 200's, and delta seems to be favoring the 900's heavily over those, it might be that 9E's summer schedules may well just be how they are this winter if not worse. I truly hope I'm wrong as I said that I would love for them to run at least one class as that might give me a shot at stepping into the company. But as of the recent announcement by delta and how things with comair have rolled out, only mesaba seems to be in a comfortable situation, again its all subject to change at any time. All the other regionals flying for delta which have a heavy fleet of 200's, I sincerely hope its not a rough ride. Really hope the change to the economy comes soon (being optimistic) and things get back on track in some time.

But since I'm no where close to being part of 9E, I could entirely be wrong so accept my apologies if thats the case. Any current employees, please correct me if I'm wrong since you guys would probably know better. How has attrition been?

airsupport, higney85... whats your take on this?

There's not so many open items. PBS was supposed to be the big sticking point and it is TA'd now...So, all we've got left is compensation, 401K (retirement), insurance....yeah, 2011 sounds about right.

9E is the IATA (Int'l Air Transport Assoc.) two-character designator for Pinnacle.

3 greens, if I were you I would be trying to get on with mesaba (xj). Don't wait on pinnacle in hopes of getting abused on reserve. A contract would be awesome but movement will remain slow over here.

3 greens...

I don't post much here, but I will echo what higney said.

FYI... I moved up none in the past month senority wise. First time since I have been here. That out to tell you something.

And something else to consider... I have heard one of our new FOs got 17 days of Airport Ready Reserve, the 9 hour variety... and with no movement and the possibility of no new classes, they can probably expect that for a while.
