Quote: Does this apply now that NWA is part of the "New Delta"?

For the record I dont' know what scope protections DAL has either.
Yup, sure does! It came to the new DAL completely intact.

And DAL will find a way to get to the cap on the 76 seat jets. Brining back 9's or any other way possible.
The reason you see these airplanes going from one airline to the next is simple. Negotiations are taking place. DCI is playing a game. They are going to give it to the airline that is willing to play by their rules. Today it was ASA, next week it may be someone else.
It is a net loss to 20 DCI jets. 20 ASA jets, but they only feel 10 and Freedom feels 10.
Trust me when I tell you that this is just the start.

ASA Rated
Quote: That doesn't have a 900 rate. It only mentions the CRJ-200, CRJ-700 and ATR-72. Can anyone from ASA confirm that a CRJ-900 rate actually exists?

Yes we have a rate for 35-59 seats and 60-76 seats. So the 900 is the same as the 700.

Wonder if the FO 700/900 awards will go senior or junior

They'll go senior I'm sure. The 700 is already senior. They'll probably just a run a differences class or so for the 200 guys with a bid already in. 50 FO's needed with them already mildly overstaffed on the 700. 30-40 to move over?

I wouldnt worry how senior they go, until they are sitting on property....

I disagree...worry about how senior they go if you're junior

I wouldn't even believe it even when you're flying it. I wouldn't even move to a new domicile for it. Just think of all the Mesa guys in ATL, hope they didn't buy a home there. Your hard work for on time performance and such are not for the company. It's for the reputation of your pilot group, to aid in getting a better paying job at a major. It's only a minor aid at that. We're all subcontractors and there is no loyalty to us. It's pure business. Go to work do it right, do it safe. We do our job well, someday managem will to..... Just don't hold your breath for it. Thanks for letting me vent.

700 is the junior aircraft now I believe. I can hold a line on the 700 but not the 200

I could hold a conversion line on the 700 and no where near on the 200. But how senior it goes will depend on how many vacancies they publish when/if the 900s come on line. Captains on the 700 are rather senior, FOs not so much.
