wow.. first they are at freedom. then they are at pinnacle. then they are at mesaba. then they are at asa. i have a strange feeling that this isn't over.

so i really dont think this is good news for skywest. they are already fat on people and if mesaba is moving into salt lake that cant be good. i would bet that the 8 markets that mesaba will serve in the 900 will be markets that skywest already services.

I agree. This is one crazy business we are in. We are supposedly still getting 5 more CRJ9s to be based out of SLC for now but who knows what will happen between now and March 2009. I don't think this roller coaster is over yet like you said.

Has ASA always had a payscale for larger aircraft? Don't they only fly 50 seaters? I guess I'm missing out on something.

That doesn't have a 900 rate. It only mentions the CRJ-200, CRJ-700 and ATR-72. Can anyone from ASA confirm that a CRJ-900 rate actually exists?

Skywest 700/900 pay rates are the same. I would assume ours would be the same but who knows...

Nice generalization. I love how such a small portion of people who post on public forum can give a whole airline a certain image. I don't know who you fly for nor do i care to check. I will just assume that all Jungle Jet drivers are jackasses. I'm just kidding but good God we are our own worst enemy!

ASA has an actual contract. If the rates exist it will say so. If not, it should outline some process for determining a pay rate for the aircraft.
