These are pay rates from 1989 adjusted to todays rates using the government CPI calculator. These are for 19-37seat commuter prop aircraft. I cant get the formating to work so just cut and paste, but you get the idea. These rates are inline with some 90 seat jet operators today while 20 years ago in a post deregulation, post Lorenzo era they were the rates for a beech or Saab or DCH 7...

Thanks! Do you have the non-adjusted rates by any chance? Or better yet, a source?

Those are the rate from the '89 contracts. For the documents ask your MEC if they can get them for you or find a senior captain that likes to hold on to older contracts.

PS-I will try to add the non adjusted rates.

Wow, a PanAm express DHC-7 FO made 4 bucks more than a Comair CRJ900 FO does today. I wonder how many of those guys heated the right seat for 8+ years waiting for an upgrade?

I would be interested to see the hiring minimums for PanAm Express and all the others back in those days. If anyone has those it would be appreciated.

Looking at those rates, all but one of the FO lists top out at 3 or 4 years. How'd those guys survive so long on so little?

Maybe no student loans...

Was it Pan Am Express, or most regionals back in 89? Is the 18-month regional upgrade just a 2002-2007 phenomenon?
