Everyone at ASA salivating and beating their chests over the arrival of "the nine" are lame, lame, lame. Hello, folks, IT'S STILL AN RJ! It has 6 more seats, and you get paid the SAME to fly it. GET OVER IT!

I was wondering that myself.....unless he means that since they spent extra money on all the bells and whistles he's surprised they didn't go all the way and spend the money on Cat 2 cert.

76-70=6 but this is using real math. Gotta agree with JP on this one. Lots of noise over nothing. |

The little pride some of the actual ASA guys are showing on here is well deserved because for the longest time threads were all about how ASA is NEVER going to see a larger aircraft on property. Well, the impossible has occurred. We at ASA all understand that the payscales have always been for up to 76 seats and the scope of the DCI limits them to 76 seats. It's just something new and interesting to talk about. Lighten up! |

ASA already flies CRJ-700s with 70 seats. The CRJ-900 in Delta livery is scope limited at 76 seats, and ASA flies it on the same pay scale as the CRJ-700. The -200 is a separate pay scale, and our -200 pilots only fly the -200.

although I do agree with you that it's just and RJ and the "nine" drivers are no better than us lowly seven or two drivers |
