You still have an LAX base right? That commute should be a really easy one.

Anyways, I would say move to PR and try to enjoy the sun. At least see the positive in that.

That is true if you look at SAMA's website for the career fair this year.
2009 SAMA Aerospace Conference & Career Fair

Could be interviewing into a pool though, I'm sure the Eagle pilot's on this board would know if they are hiring.

I remember when one of the students planning the career fair brought in GoJets one year, that didn't go over to well with most of the staff.

First, we no longer have the beech or beech captains although that is neither here nor there.

Second the only way i see that we would hire this spring is for attrition which there is fairly little of although I think it may be a good possibility. Next spring we will hire close to 200 or more if we still exist.

Also when I was in class, people who were assigned sju as a base put their bid in for MIA and were awarded MIA before they were into IOE. Don't know about now though.
hahe, you must be talking about Candycane! Just flew with her... She mentioned a very good friend named Jesse that worked for Eagle and went to cmp... Oh, and Withthatsaid check your pm...

Notice how it says "Interviewing on-site" not "Interviewing for FO positions on-site". They've had that little star next to NWA and DAL and a few other in the past... because they were interviewing for interns... don't get your hopes up.

There was at least one FO who didn't submit enough bids and was awarded San Juan while FO's junior got JFK ERJ. Every displacement/vacancy bid there is always someone who pounds sand because they didn't have enough bids/screwed up their bids. If you are super junior and all you could hold is SFA then so be it. A buddy of mine left a bid preference in to change bases and is pounding sand because he didn't really want it.

I was told early on if you don't want it....don't bid it and if you don't bid...don't bi*ch.

One bright spot....I will no longer be the most junior DFC! Two guys (including my buddy ;-) ) coming in below me.

It wasn't me. I'm staying put as DFC. I reviewed the preliminary results and saw one FO with NEB's (not enough bids) who got sent to San Juan while FO's junior to him go JFK ERJ.
