Every time you make a power adjustment, you got to re-trim it.
There's a lot of airplanes like that...

Yea...I didn't mean to make it sound like the ATR is unique in that respect, just need to pay a little more attention to it than the ERJ, CRJ. A little it more work. Same would be true if you went from ATR to Saab. Or Saab to single pilot C402 operations. It all about relativity. Thanks for making sound like a newb though, i appreciate it.

If you weren't even born when the hostages were released when Reagan was sworn in than you are a newb.

In fact I was born before then. And I am a newb. But saying so without any knowledge of me is presumptuous and a little arrogant. And that , too, is relative. But now that I admit to it, its a mute point. You win.

Back on track then. PM if you want me to help you make some contacts in PR. Going there on without some contacts might end up in you getting in a bad situation. You might as well get displaced prepared.

What about all the people that were hired with a base guarantee? If I was hired there and promised a certain base, then I would be royally P.O.'ed if the company reneged. Had Eagle been offering that when I got into the regional airlines, I would have went there, since I live in Dallas. I hope that those getting displaced that had a base guarantee has that guarantee in writing. Then they might have a court case. Imagine if you live in DFW then are forced to commute to San Juan!!!

You know, I was going to bring that up. It is a good point and and definitely adds perspective as to why a lot of people would be terribly angered. A lot of people choose to apply here based on that one carrot, including myself.

However, considering no one has been furloughed yet with so many other companies furloughing and the vast majority of people on here that started out their regional careers with very little control over where they had to go...I wouldn't expect any sympathy. But I do have empathy.

An message just came out saying the displacement bid is canceled due to recent flying hour changes...

hmmmmm...As good as that should seem I'm wondering if that really means a reduction in pilot staffing? Maybe they did not see the need to send people through long term again if they might need to reduce staffing?

At least you aren't being furloughed.
