and date of hire at the current airline, not at "TSA holdings."

this way, the bastards that jumped ship at the beginning get pwned as is fitting for turncoats.

From my own informal polling of other waterskiiers in terminals and cockpits, date of hire is perfectly acceptable to most of us. I hate the pseudo-scabs as much as anyone else, but if DOH is what it takes to merge the lists. Do it.

(They can even have a fence for a year or two so they don't immediately get flushed from their shiny CRJs)

Otherwise, we should just strike and let them become real scabs.

You strike and Hulas loses his income for the new CRJs that are supposed to come. That's the last thing he wants.

Burn it down guys.

And from what I have heard from GoJet pilots, alot of them wouldn't mind picking up the 145 flying from TSA. You guys strike and that might be the end of TSA. Yeah they might call us scabs and stuff, but if GoJet was to get all of TSA's flying, I seriously doubt that they would turn it down.
You guys might be holding the line, but don't realize that you might not have a job if you strike. While you guys are on strike, all the flying will be transfered to GoJet and you guys will all be on permanent furlough.

If GoJet had no future, then why would ASA endorse it and recommend it's furloughed pilots to go there. United- their union tells their furloughed pilots to go there. GoJet has been around for a couple of years now, despite all the so called talks and being called scabs. If I was a betting man, I would say that no merging is ever going to happen and no strike is going to happen as well.

WOW....I normally defend GoJet guys (with the exception of the original few). But this might be the most nauseating comment ever. There is a big difference between people calling you a scab because they are ****ed over a old battle and ACTUALY BEING ONE. If a majority of GoJetters are actually saying this maybe the Waterskiiers are right and you are just a bunch of jerks. (language cleaned up as not to be banned) Some how I doubt this is actualy true.

I am a GoJet pilot and I won't fly struck work. I don't know who Xelectro has been talking to but GoJet pilots aren't scabs and won't be flying TSA's 145s if they go on strike. It simply isn't feasable, HK would dissolve TSA and sell the 145s before he would let GoJet pilots fly TSA's planes for more money and better work rules.

WOW as well. It will be interesting to see if these guys that are so proud of their union would cross a real picket line. Xelectro makes it sound like they don't care. I don't think that Gojet could pick up the TSA flying just like that. Props to the waterskiers for saying no to the contract extension so that Hulas could keep buying more shiny CRJs.

Let me be the third to say, WOW just WOW. Xelectro I hope that's exactly how it goes down, I will gladly walk any waterskier's resume to any place I ever work as I torch yours. If that went down as you described and there's ANY HONOR left in our profession you would NEVER be able to jumpseat and any alpa pilot on any hiring board would deserve a punch in the face for not round filing you any time Gojet showed up on a resume.

If TSA would take it I don't see why you wouldn't want a single list anyway, just because for the moment gojet is Hula's favorite could change any time....that's how whipsaws work..

Why would any GoJet pilot want a single list.?
It would mean a downgrade for all the street captains, and posible dissplacement and even worse a furlough for guys like me at the bottom of the list. Just to accomidate TSA furloughes being recalled. Ofcorse I personally am against a single list. As far as flying TSA's aircraft in case of a strike, I was just making a "What if" Scenario. And I never said it would be a right thing to do. I have alot of respect for fellow TSA pilots and just hope things could be worked out between HK and their pilotgroup with another contract or an extension of ther current one. I just don't want it to involve GoJet in any way. I am not against TSA getting a good contract, what I am against is a merger between the two.
Ofcourse TSA pilots wouldn't mind a merger, why would they?
It's the GoJet pilots that would be screwed this time.

I'm not one for ill will, but your previous comments would make me glad to see you standing on a street corner.

The logistics to allow gojet to fly TSA's 145's would be insane, and possibly outside of TSH's capabilities. All the new training, new company manuals, test runs, etc would be a true hassle. Getting CRJ200's for Gojet would make more sense, but operating costs would be higher, margins slimmer, and the ability to make money on them that much more difficult, It could also put Hulie in a financial pickle, and I'd doubt he'd be up for that just to prove a point.

Merged lists will give more job security for both companies, not just trans states. And a seat lock would keep the blood from getting to violent. Same time, why should some street captain, who ran to Gojet for his quick turbine PIC be held higher than a Waterskier who was working his butt off in the mud for years longer?

Enjoy your tenure Xelectro.
