Is it JFK or LGA where you have to go outside security of you're deadheading or getting food or anything?

Well said. Anyone who complains about write-ups probably isn't the one who's ticket is at risk.

I would think that with the walk from the gate to the street being 100 times shorter than the one at JFK; that LGA would be the more "comfortable" to be at. Depends were you will be commuting from too. I'm pretty sure LGA shutts down around 930pm or so... Haven't worked there in a long while, but when I did I remember it shutting down fairly early. Anyway, pick the base with the easiest, and most choices for commuting, then go with the comfort factor.
