Did you even read what I wrote or are you to righteous for that?
On topic, you are literally making my point for me. This entire tread is based on assumptions that hold no water. In one sentence you have determined that I am cheap and selfish, two attributes you have no authority to make due to having no facts to support it. You are the problem in this scenario, not me.

No, because you are wrong and just because you say otherwise doesn’t make it anymore true. My wife would laugh at your notion that I’m cheap.

I'm with CBreezy, I make sure I have enough cash for tipping and if I mess up and don't have it then I get to an ATM so I do.

How is this even a thread?
The math is simple.
You tip a driver who loads and unloads you damned bag or you are a POS.
Simple
Seriously. Everyone gives the lady in a restaurant 15 to 20% for brining them 3lbs of food, but they cheap out on a driver who just hefted 687lbs of bags...,
Only pilots I have ever seen not tip a van driver are millenials. I guess they assume mommy will be along to take care of it.... Or, more likely-they are too far up their own asses to give a crap.

Even at the regionals, you will rarely see an FA not tip (I can't remember ever seeing one in 10 years at a regional) and the FAs make peanuts. It seems to be even money though on whether a captain will tip. It's simply embarrassing when the highest paid member of the crew is the one always making excuses about why they aren't going to tip or that they aren't going to make sure they have cash "just for tipping."

Maybe it’s just the particular regional that I work for but i’d say about 20% of FAs and 50% of FOs tip the van driver, from what i’ve seen the past 3 years here.
