It's not hard; either you tip or you don't. There's no rules saying you must. Why is that so hard for you to understand?

There aren't any rules, only customary recommendations. The interweb is full of half-truths and bull. That's the point in all this. Not every driver does a job worth a tip and not every rider/guest has a tip on them to reward them either. Those are the breaks and I will never be sorry for it. Again, tip them if you have it and they genuinely deserve it. I certainly never judge either way because it's really a flea on an ant's ass in the game of life.

It's not a rule. You don't go to jail or lose your job. Same with tipping a waiter. You don't have to, ever. It is a social convention. You are just a douche if you don't. Why is THAT so hard to understand?

Ya see, that is where you have a problem. Must suck going thru life like that. You and all the other "must tip or you're a douche" jack-offs. BTW, I do tip sometimes, $1/bag. I don't give a rats a$$ what others do, or what others think if I do or don't. Get a ****ing life. Got it?

It takes a real tough guy to say you don't care about the plight of people making minimum wage with little to no benefits and not caring whether they noticed you not tipping. And then expecting those same people to side with you when we claim pilots are underpaid or overworked or under attack by anti-labor movements. It's about the perception it creates in both the traveling public and those who serves us. It's about violating societal norms and behaving like a sociopath, not caring what people think about you unabashedly violating social conventions.
And yes, it's also about maturity. It takes a real mature person to, instead of using rational arguments, throw a profanity laced tantrum.
