I hope Im wrong!
You're right. I believe, given the current staffing situation, that they would have recalled already. However, I think we are going to see a significant drop in block hours come the fall time frame that will result in the need for our current staffing levels. The summer will be interesting at below min staffing levels... but what does Delta expect, if they cant keep giving a consistent block hour schedule, do they just want us to seasonally recall and furlough? GMAFB.

Here is the problem. The company needs to recall a few guys due to the rerun of the reallocation bid. However, the union is till fighting that the way the company ran that bid was a direct violation of the contract and that the entire bid should have been opened as a vacancy to all pilots or something like that. Who knows what will happen there.

Keep in mind. Comair hired near 300 guys for some 14 or 15 900's that we were suppose to get and never did. Hence 300 guys furloughed. So unless they bring more airplanes on property or there is a MASS exodus I don't see more than a handful of recalls happening.

Maybe she got 1 per month and 1 per day confused.... Either way I'm guessing that number will increase once the hellish commute to JFK begins.....

only 100 made it on property...the other 200 furloughs were already at comair before the announcement of the "big hiring wave".

Correct, I was there almost 8 months before they announced the 'big wave'.

More than 100 were on property before the first 900s were even announced. That drives me crazy when people say all furloughes were there less than a year. One of our fearless union leaders talked to a couple of us one day and said something about us being on probation but they wanted to take care of us. I got off probation 6 months before I got furloughed.

I had the oh so wonderful second year pay for three months. I did like the "here's your paycheck... HAHA nevermind" stunt they did.
