Have you considered this - that's ten years you'll never get back.

Andy I agree with you, If you hate and bash Comair so Much go to Great Lakes or elsewhere ( Hope to move up a number or two). I will be more than glad to come back if they ever recall. Comair is not nearly perfect but the the crews were great. 13 month before I got furloughed and enjoy every moment of it. Good luckk everyone hope you find something to do in the meantime.

Just a couple questions kind of on this topic... I have nothing but time right now.

1) Let's just pretend all furloughees are not recalled within the five year contractual period... what do you think the company would do with these employees? Would they just dump them and say, "See ya" or would they extend an offer of employment as "their number" rolled up as a matter of courtesy?

2) How will training be handled once furloughees are recalled? There's a wide variety of experience out there among the folks that are furloughed. Some have a couple years experience and some barely finished IOE before being furloughed. Assuming many of these folks aren't able to fly presently, how will the training be approached once they are recalled?

I wish they only furloughed for the expected 900's. If we were expected to get 14 new aircraft that's only about 150 pilots. They dug much deeper than the expected "new flying." I only bring this up since I'm next on deck for the F bomb! How much does this airline suck?!?!?!

Not only did we not get the 900s, but we are operating at a significantly different number of block hours.
