Sitting in recurrent at the CEC today, a little birdie with the initials FF came in to inform us that the contract was complete. Let's see what the other side of the table says during the conference call tonight!

upper management has always stuck their nose in my recurrent, said something every year and NONE of their rumors ever came true.....
We were getting -900's next year, in 2001
EFB's in 2005
etc.

oh yeah, he said "the" contract, not "pilot" contract......the contract with crappy pass bennies on DL, or the contract with how much they are paying the hotel downtown for the shareholders meeting, o the contract on PT's new lexus?

Its interesting the the final thing they are fighting over is scope. We have all seen what a lack of scope can do so you can imagine why the company would like to have loose language in the scope clause. He said that the rest of the areas rely on the completion of scope, and that once it is done the deal is done.
He sounded VERY optimistic about our new work rules. "BIG improvements in our quality of life" sounds like a really good start to me.

I think this is the most important part. To get it done one way or another is exactly what our negotiating guy said.
