EMB 190 Pay Rates
I'm confused a bit here I guess. Anyone look at the US Airways 190 rate? It sucks, and sucks bad. Now I would expect a regional to have those rates but US Airways rates are bad, at least according to this site. Question is this; whose rates does RAH have to match to keep from dragging the industry down? Would it be the lowest major airline flying the aircraft? If that is the case then the bar is already really low and it is not a regionals fault for setting it that way.

If they go lower than anyone out there then they are dragging it down too. From what I have seen and heard they are well below JetBlue or US Airways.

US Airways 190 CA tops at 95 according to this site. Hope thats not right but if it is then RAH already has it beat on the CA side. They do need to work on their FO pay as it is no longer the days of rapid upgrade.

RAH has been dragging down the industry since the day they signed an inferior contract in order secure growth (shiny airplanes). After Mesa goes out of business, RAH will continue to represent the bottom feeders of the industry by flying even bigger airplanes (like mesa's CRJ9's) for less and less money. I hope mainline Midwest guys spit in the faces of every RAH pilot they run into, because that's what RAH is doing to them.

Are you even remotely aware of what Chautauqua pilots left on the table in terms of work rules & compensation in 2003 to secure SCOPE against the threat of a non-union Republic Airlines taking away all their US Airways E145s and putting all pilots on a single seniority list?
If you don't think that was a worthwhile sacrifice in defense of their jobs, look no further than what has and is happening between TSA and GoJet.

According to APC's info, US Airways pays a top rate of 95/hr on the EMB 190. RAH's 99 seat rate tops at 119.32/hr. Who is dragging who down. They already pay better for 99 seats than a mainline carrier on 100 seats. So given this information why is everybody ****ed at RAH? Why not be ****ed at US Airways?

Exactly!! Its great to see someone who can read and also has some common sense. Its just the fact that a "regional" is flying these aircraft that had everyone so ****ed. RAH's business is providing air transportation services, no matter to whom or what size aircraft...
