I'm actually really enjoying my time at Lynx. We have a great pilot group, an awesome chief pilot, and I love the mountain flying. Now if I could only afford to work here.....

I'm too new to the airline biz to speculate on our future with RAH in the mix. But like someone else said, its a nice little harbour in the storm....

#11 hits the property late this month or early next. #12 is in Feb I think. Unsure of the status of the rest.

One of our most JR EMB FO's is a retired AF AWAX flight commander with more than enough heavy time to move on to anyone. I've flown several times with the guy and I must say I love his attitude. I’m sure that he and I will remain in contact even after we’ve move on to what we hope are greener pastures.

For him SKW is a safe harbor.

The last class, everyone was Part 121 except for one. Three were furloughed. I hope it's a safe harbor, and yes, awesome chief pilot. We are lucky to have him, he used to be the chief over at Reno Air.

Oh, and it's to fly a 74 seat Dash 8 for $22/hr!

Interesting. I interviewed with them on the 26th for the same class. Apparently they didn't like any of us, because they said there wasn't another date to interview at the time, and they didn't let me know I didn't get it until today. I've got 2000 hours, 1000 PIC, and 2 years part 121. I thought I did well in the interview, but apparently not. I at least knew the answer to all of the technical questions, perhaps they simply didn't like me.

For a while the May class was going to be the last one. They canceled the June class and un-hired anybody that had been selected (They refused to create a hiring pool). Last I heard they had decided to have a July 13th class (so they re-hired a few) with the size rumored to be anywhere from 6 to 16. 6 or 10 is most likely.

Generally I have been told they only hire 1/4 of the people they interview, I don't think that is something to be proud of (just my opinion), but someone here seems to. If you interviewed and didn't get hired please don't take offense. I thought I had blown my interview, while people, like yourself seemed to do well but didn't get hired. It turns out there are some pretty specific things they are looking for.

Any idea how Lynx will operate with RAH owning Frontier? For that matter, does Frontier have a controlling stake in Lynx that would make it part of the RAH deal?

Hence the million dollar question and why a lot of us were signing UTU cards the other day: WE DON'T KNOW

Also, Lynx is wholly owned by Frontier so yes we are part of the deal.

Republic: Teamsters
Midwest: ALPA
Frontier: FAPA
Lynx: ???
UTU maybe?

May the battle of the unions begin!
