Amazing
One of the most amazing thing I have noticed while participating in these forums is that the same complaining occurs consistently, and it is always managements fault. I don't remember hearing, not that it hasn't occurred, anyone with an idea of how to increase ridership on our airlines, make our product distinguishable so that people would be willing to pay more for it, or reduce the costs associated with the operations so that there will be additional money to spread around for crew compensation. In other industries, the people that are most highly compensated bring value to the company, product or service. What are we doing in that capacity?

i agree but airline pilots don't paid anymore whether they do more or not. also, its hard to do more and then have pilots under cut what you did. |

Just so everyone on here knows what the real mentality of Republic employees are:
There was a Republic employee on my commute yesterday. I overheard the conversation between this individual and the flight attendant, and this individual couldn't help exclaiming "I can't wait till the 190's get here! They will be so nice! We are really moving up!" No joke, this is how these people think. I would love to be there when the same bragging occurs in front of a furloughed Midwest employee. |

This is how Republic will be its own airline one day. Bigger planes that we fly under our own brand. Hell, I never need to apply for another job, just stay here. Great!
