Putting all the pilots working under a major's banner on one list would be the most significant advancement in pilot labor since deregulation. A worthy goal, but it could take a long time (if ever).

Even if we did lose airplanes, there is still the unholy rate of attrition that would only increase if growth stops or reverses. They would need additional classes to cover that. Forget about furloughs.

Nothing new and the Unions haven't learned a thing when dealing with this issue...There is no Unity in the airline industry even within ALPA, APA, Teamsters...You name it...There is no unity within the labor groups of the airlines themselves...Just what managment wanted.
