Thats ok. Make it last a while. Then when they get the arbitration won, via ALPA (a real union unlike yours), they will get back pay and make BB hurt where it counts. And then all your whiney E175 guys can sit back and enjoy DOH winning out and being forced well down on a seniority list. I hope the Midex guys stick it out just to make and educate some of the RAH pilots on how things work. Thus getting a pay rate for a plane, work rules, and mostly how seniority will win out and they will be placed before most of you fools.
I surely hope, most RAH pilots dont have your attitude about things. Because its sad and very unfortunate to the industry as a whole.

Not trying to fan a fire, and I'll try my best to word this correctly, but no pilot can simply bid into another base to displace another pilot. Vacancies will be posted and you can then bid for those. If vacancies don't exist at a certain base then a pilot can either base swap or wait for a vacancy to be made. Hopefully once you meet a few here you'll change your mind about people. It's a good group.

Uh, just a hunch, here....but I don't believe Midwest will get stapled above RAH pilots. RAH bought Midwest, not the other way around.
Oh, I have to agree with others on this board, the attitude of the Midwest group on here is disgusting, esp. when the RAH pilot group had NOTHING to do with the purchase of Midwest.
Be careful what you ask for (demand, rather) you might just get bupkis.

The Republic pilots have no respect for the plight of the Midwest pilots as evidence of this thread dictates. What they fail to realize is the YX pilots have a CONTRACT. That CONTRACT is still enforced. This replacement flying of Midwest by RAH crews will be taken to court. We will win. Bedford now needs our certificate because we all know that SWA is going to get Frontier. And I have changed my mind. I don't want a fence around MKE. I will be very senior no matter what and I want the ability to displace Republic pilots anywhere I want to. Let them feel what it's like. What goes around comes around.

Midwest Air Group is owned by Republic, but still has a binding labor contract with the "Midwest pilots".
Any changes will have to be negotiated and voted on by the "Midwest pilot". Bryan Bedford cannot use "the company is in financial trouble" language to win the next grievance on outsourcing flying.

Sounds like a Republic pilot. You guys are the cancer of our profession.
You are being used to undercut and undermine this industry. Aviation is a small world if you haven't figured it out. Any pilot on your seniority list is going to be avoided like the plague. You are undermining any working relationship between the pilot groups.
Good luck.

As a 13 year furloughed Midwest Captain. I hope the meetings this week between the pilot groups are productive.
Did the careers of the Midwest pilot group blow up in their face? YES
Did they have anything to do with that? NO
Did the Republic pilots have anything to do with that? NO
It is what it is. It's time to work together to make Republic Airlines a proud place to work.
Lets do it together.

Have you been reading this webboard? Republic pilots are not going to work together with the Midwest pilots or the profession.
Republic pilots are looking for a free lunch!
