Does anyone know when the next rounds of interviews are scheduled to take place; and for what class dates?

Thanks.

Tuesday's add said Interviews for 1900 F/O and CPT and SF F/O will be "end of June." It had no class date information.

I think the june interviews are for the July class that they are trying to put together. I'll ask around and see what I can find out. I've heard that they are planning to run classes thru the end of the year, but i don't really know how. I have no idea where they are going to put al of these new hires since most of our bases are full of FO's. Rumor has it that we are going to add a few new bases, so that may be what they are planning on. I got hired on right before they picked up the United flying, and they used 3 or 4 classes to fill up those new bases.

Default Colgan Hiring

Colgan will lose between 30 and 40 captains this year to majors/nationals/fractionals. They'll also lose about 50 FO's to jet regionals. That's 80 to 90 pilots or a new hire class of 6 - 8 each month to keep up. If we expand again, then more will be needed. The problem with attrition is it's not steady. One month you get two or three, the next month 15 people leave. Colgan has a tendency to do "just-in-time" hiring. So if you want to work for us don't be surprised to be interviewed on a Thursday and be offered a class that starts Monday (that's what happened to me).

Thanks.

Kilo,

In past posts, it sounded like you liked where you were at. It sounded as the pay, equipment, and lifestyle was good. If you want to be an airline pilot, then best wishes and good luck. I was curious if you are not getting to fly to build time, or you feel stuck with no chance to improve you situation.

Don't mean to be off topic, or be nosy, just curious about people starting out in the corporate side at present.

I had to decline an interview on June 23rd because it was really short notice and I had some scheduling issues. I sent Cathy an email with an updated resume this afternoon. Is it a good idea to call her and ask about upcoming interviews or is that being pushy? It seems kind of difficult to draw the line between being interested and being annoying.

Does anyone know of any interview dates near the end of July and of any class dates in late July/early August?

Thanks for the help.

Call her once a week until you get an interview.
