Pinnacle pilots say NO!!

Its only for 20 planes is what people are saying and its only temporary but that wasnt the point of my post, the point was is that our management is pathetic becuase they have the best performing regional airline and can't secure any new business for it.

Well I know a check airman whose friend is in maintenance for UAL in ORD and he said we were getting the flying and that 9E and ORD UAL ops were looking over each others ground ops manuals and coming up with a framework for integrating 9E's procedures into theirs and vice-versa....
Yeah...it's complete BS...but so is a rumor in a recurrent ground class!!!

Delta had testified in Comair's 1113c case that throwing out the Comair pilot contract would allow Delta to award aircraft to Comair. The judge agreed and said Delta/Comair could impose their own work rules on the Comair pilots.
For what it's worth, on the very day Comair emerged from bankruptcy (April 30,2007), Delta decided it was the perfect occasion to announce that Pinnacle had won the flying.
More salt in the wound.

Pinnacle won 16 CRJ900s in Delta's sham bankruptcy RFP in 2006 when they reshuffled the DCI deck to whipsaw the pilot groups.

In light of everyone else getting hosed by Delta now, and looking at what is happening to Midwest pilots, AA & UAL fuloughing and losing pensions, etc., it sounds whiny when a Comair guy comes in the plane complaining about how horrible Comair is treated, while the last 5 ASA, XJ, AA, UAL, and Xjet guys didn't complain at all....

Nicholasblonde... I'm not saying Pinnacle doesn't have good numbers, but you DO realize not every airline reports their numbers to the DOT? For a true comparison, take a look on dlnet and you'll see how 9E compares to the industry average and all DCI carriers. Hint... you'll find that 9E rarely if ever ranks at the top.
Oh and I totally agree with you... The Comair whining is getting old!
