Ok so now that ASA has officially won the contract, can we go back to talking about how our management will win no flying in the future? Sounds like once again skywest was thinking ahead and secured a long term deal beacuse they have money to do so, they dont **** it away like ours.

By the way for what its worth, they are now telling our recurrent and difference training classes that we are hiring 14 per month starting in january for a couple months.

They only accept apps through airlineapps? IOW, you've got to pay to apply for a job. All other jobs, non pilot, have a specific location to send resumes.

Doesn't seem like it'd matter if probies went to work during a strike.... they won't have captains to fly with?

Airlineapps is free if you're submitting one application. The paid service is ONLY if you want to store your info for applying to other airlines. It's a common misconception.

You dont have to worry about that, there will never be a strike, besides you will be off probation before we negotiate again anyways.

??? You won't see a contract for a couple of years now. I would bet there will be a change in the negotiating committee. Maybe even the MEC. Then the negotiating committee will take time to reassess the needs of the crew members before returning to the table. At this rate, the MEC should have taken the deal presented to them four years ago. At least you'd be negotiating off that instead of one that's nine years old.

Yeah--I still can't seem to find the guys who were all like "Oh--look at SWA getting a new TA in 6 months."

Sorry guys, and thanks for playing Pinnacle Management + ALPA...

Nick- where you truly happy with the TA or just the thought of having a TA? If we had signed the TA I guarantee we would already have guys on hear complaining about it after they voted YES. I don't aim this at you but there are some that are never satisfied no matter what.
