God bless you Highney, let me give you a break while you go have a cold one.... the guy knows nothing. Even if Delta took it away from us, they are not giving it to Mesaba or any one else, this dumb a++ thinks. No one can handle the capacity. They can bareley handle what they have now. And as always you are correct Highney, our contrancts with NWA and DAL, are more straight forward than we think. They are pretty much stuck with us..

Thanks but it's higney- not highney. Although some would argue that me and a butt are quite alike..

Congrats boys!

How is just over half of people saying no, such a good thing. There is still many out there that voted other than no. I would call this a battle won that hopefully will influence the war properly. But with it so close to going the other way, I hope everyone isn't counting chickens too soon.

The OLD men in suits have their exit strategy in place. I think Pinchanickle plans on integrating the 900s into Colgan group....unless lawsuits from 3407 don't short circuit that plan.

Face it you will be working for scum wages or be unemployed MANAGEMENT will not negotiate with you if it betters your life....enjoy another 4 years at the table..

Time for you guys to put pressure on the NMB they are your roadblock now from sending a CLEAR message.

gosh I'm confused. I have people who have a whole year or 2 of airline experience and no experience with pinnacle management telling me "Kudos for having a backbone"
Then I have someone telling me gloom and doom for not signing...

I feel bad for all the starry-eyed FOs who were brainwashed into thinking it would be like SWA where we have another TA in 6 months. More like a year. By the time the union gets done having meetings upon meetings, and the NMB remembers "what was that regional airline's name again?" you'll see a few months of talks, a few more meetings, the vacation slide comes back and 11 days off for reserve OR removal of the 12 hour rule, and then 3 weeks of roadshows...then we might have something to vote on again...

Not trying to flame the discussion going on, but...

Today I was in BNA and, while eating at the food court, overheard a senior Pinnacle capt who was complaining about "junior" pilots being a majority of the company now. He was mad that the TA had gone down and was saying:

"FOs should be happy with a 40% increase in their wages, what more do they want?"

"All they want is some industry-leading contract. Who cares? I call these pilots 'SNAP', sensitive new age pilots. They think they're entitled to more. Who are they kidding?"

I thought to myself, WOW. No wonder things never get accomplished in this industry. It's this mentality that because they had to suffer through crap-wages when they were junior, every new guy should too.

Anyway, I said it before but congrats to 9E for turning down the contract. I think everyone should vote however they want in a way that would benefit the person itself. However, to be talking trash about your own pilot group because they're 25 years younger than you and you don't agree with them? Wow, that's a new low.
