Places like Colgan and others have become stepping stones to other stepping stones. Go to Colgan to get some 121 experience and then keep trying to get on with a more reputable regional. Then, if your are one of the lucky ones, move from there onto as major or national.

There is, and never will be, a shortage of pilots. Pay and benefits are going to continue to go down, age 65 will play no factor in that.

Until people stop going to places like this and value their skills for what they are worth it has not been discussed enough. 121 flying carrying paying (unsuspecting) passengers is not an entry level position or a place to build basic flying skills and experience.

So true. That is why each of us should support HR 3371.
