There is also attrition. My number went up 7 notches in the past two months. It went up 54 in the past 12 months.

Chip can correct me on this but can't you bid for the Q if jdalbrec wanted the Q after 3 or 4 months since he'll be on the leading edge of the new hires

i'm sorry, i didn't quite get that. were you comparing my ability to bid for the Q compared to the soon-to-be new hires for the new Q or to Chip?

Does anyone know when the next round of interviews will be? I was called, but sadly the same day I got the call we had to take my mom to the hospital.... She had H1N1 that turned into pnemonia, and was on life support for most of last week. I couldn't leave.... so when I called on Tuesday of this week, Chuck told me they would consider me for the next round.

I hated to miss that first opportunity (first time to interview ect...), but I wasn't sure if mom was going to make it until they took her out of ICU on Monday.

did you let them know you weren't coming? I could see them maybe not calling you again, just because they saab guys asap, and if they offered once, they might not a second time - hopefully they do.

We didn't schedule anything. Chuck sent me an e-mail that asked me to call, but that was sent on the Saturday we took mom to the hospital. So, no I didn't have an interview scheduled. I was unable to call until Tuesday.... That is when Chuck told me the e-mail was in reference to scheduling interviews. The e-mail I recieved was so short that I wasn't sure if it was in fact for an interview or not. It just said please call and listed a number.

yea, my friend received a very similar email and when he called the conversation ended up being about setting up an interview. Have you talked to them yet?
