Default About had a heart attack...CRJ1000...

Maybe it's a screw-up due to the integration, but I saw a flight MEM-STL showing a CRJ-1000 on the route on Delta.com just now....I think it's actually a CRJ-200 (I think)....but apparently it is in "the system" to have RJ-1000s as a possible fleet type....

Scared the crap out of me...let's hope it never happens...

I saw recently that there's a 'software glitch' in Delta's system that is also putting 777-300ERs on routes (Delta doesn't have these - no US carrier has these) and 737-200s (another type Delta does not operate) on other routes. Kinda odd to have a glitch like that, especially regarding the CRJ-1000 which isn't even certified yet AFAIK.

How does that happen? Seriously?

Yes, there is a glitch in the DL system. It is actually suppose to say CRJ-100.

I think a far simpler explanation is that someone in IT does not know the difference between a 777-200ER and -300ER, or a CR1 and the CRJ-1000...

Computers never lie; humans do. If it *does* happen let's hope the -1000s are flown by mainline pilots with mainline work rules...

I agree with all of the above, but I might add that the CRJ-900 is ugly enough, for pure aesthetic reasons I hope the eye sore that would be the 1000 stays on the drawing board

The more I read these forums, the more I'm beginning to think there are more and more tools every day on here.

Anyone who has ever soloed a 152 is on here spouting "main line jobs!"

While I actually agree with the idea, the messenger is more often than not a boring blow hard.

Or maybe I just hate this hotel and need a beer!

It's off the drawing board and in the air. I saw one make a handful of test flights in Witchita last winter. I have no idea if any have been delivered, and what new scope battles lie ahead.
