You guys have been very helpful so far but here's another question: Apparently airlineapps doesn't know that dual received during one's IFR training can also be logged as PIC and therefore there's a discrepancy from my logbook's PIC and my airlineapps PIC (~20 hours). So is this an issue during the interview or the recruiters are aware of the way airlineapps logs dual received?
Thanks! This exact thing happened to me. I put a post-a-note on the last page of my log book stating that "xx hours logged as dual and PIC during IFR and commercial training." There were no questions and I got hired. |

After all the flight time grid that American eagle gives you a flight time grid, which includes dual pic. |
Regarding American Eagle, and other airlines for that matter, how much of a driving history do they really want? Would they just want the previous ten years, or everything since you were sixteen years old? For instance, I received my last speeding ticket in 1997. The one before that was 1992. I don't think you can even get a record from the state that goes that far back. Does anyone have a similar situation?

There may be a thread somewhere on here but I couldn't find it. Can someone tell me if Eagle will allow you to flight instruct while you are on reserve? Or can you do it, just not for compensation, i.e. for friends and family. Thx.

How is the interview for former 121 pilots? I was furloughed back in 2008 and have been flying 135 since then. Just wondering if I have to concentrate more on 135, 121 or both to prepare for the upcoming interview. Also, I've been flying a Caravan....will they ask system questions on my last aircraft flown, or since it was a single-engine they might just ask questions regarding my last twin, or even the EMB145 flown 3 years ago
Thank again. |
They asked me to pick an airplane I knew the best. They first asked what airplanes I've been flying. If I were you, I would prepare the EMB because that is what we fly here.

You will be maxed out, so you won't be able to fly extra. Just saying...
