I havent heard a peep. Has anyone even been given a March 14th classdate? It wouldnt surprise me to see them take a week off from newhire classes considering how backed up they are in the training center.

Yes. Embraer and I got March 14 class at 7AM. We are still waiting for the projections though.

Good to know. The bid results from the latest vacancy bid have just been finalized today, so maybe in the next day or two you will get an email with the class projections.

I need help from some of you Eagle guys. I got an interview date and my question is in regard the tons of paperwork to be filled out. Should I date the paperwork as of the day I fill it out or should I use my interview date instead? How about signature? Should I sign it now or wait to sign in front if the recruiters on the day of my interview?

Thanks

1. Should I date the paperwork as of the day I fill it out or should I use my interview date instead?

I used the date of the interview for all of the paperwork.

2. How about signature?

If you read the instructions on the very first few pages of each packet, it will say which sections to fill ALL out and what not.

If I remember correctly I think there is only one packet and/or section that you don't sign until they tell you to do so.

Again, all of the instructions are on the packets. Read them before filling the paperwork out.

Good luck

I interviewed on Monday and got the pre-offer. They told us that our stuff should go through the captain's board today. I was wondering about how long it takes after the board to hear back? Thanks guys!

Did they mention anything about lax being available?

As far as I know the review board meets on Fridays, you should get your answer on the 11th.

Still no class projection for 3/14....think they are going to make us wait until the first day of class to know anything?

uvuflyer:

The review board meets every Friday..however Eagle doesn't send anybody to the board until all their paperwork has come back. That includes not only your previous employer faxes but also your FBI background check and national driving record.

The background check typically takes one to two weeks to come back...so I wouldn't expect a call until next Friday at the earliest. I just don't want you to wait with baited breath this Friday because I know how miserable that can be.

Does anyone know what exactly the national driving record is? How is that different from getting a driving record from the state? what information is on it?
I guess maybe for most it's different. I have a cdl, everything on our record automatically goes national.
