Thanks! Yeah, I'm going for DFW ERJ. I live in Dallas so would like to be based here.

One question: this afternoon after faxing back my conditional offer of employment form I receive a second e-mail from T.L. confirming me for the March 14th class. In that same e-mail he asked that I sign and send back two forms..one was a pilot new hire payroll form and the other was the Eagle fingerprint application form; the one that lists all the disqualifying crimes.

The fingerprint form I had already signed on the day of my interview when I was fingerprinted. Is there a reason why I would have to sign it again? I thought that by this point all our records (including the FBI fingerprint check) would have come back. Is this just a formality? I was also suprised to be confirmed for a class date before the medical..but I'll take it! I was just confused by the fingerprint application form. They are not asking me to be fingerprinted again...it was just the fingerprint application to sign and send back.

I think it is just a formality and wouldn't worry about it. That's great they confirmed you for the 14th class. You'll probably get an email in a week or so that says what bases/equip they are projecting for that class. They have been hiring a lot of pilots into DFW ERJ, so you have a good chance at that.

Thanks buddy! I have been on a high all day since getting the news...which is good because before that phone call I was getting more and more sad with each hour that went by! I might actually be able to get some sleep tonight :)

So all our records (driving record, fingerprints, etc..) are back and done by this point, right? I'm not worried about anything, just curious.

BTW: Captain Reibach is a super nice guy. He was the one who called me to let me know I had been approved. I had spoken to him once before a couple of weeks ago regarding something I can't even remember anymore. Both times he was extremly nice. I can't wait to start!

You need to have as much verifiable proof that you worked for them as possible. Pay stubs, W2's, everything. If you have a contact number still, call them and find out if they can give you a new fax number so that they can comply with PRIA requirements.

If you are dealing with a part time job you held for a few months duration four years ago, would a W2 be enough? This particular place has long since closed - out of business. I don't remember exact employment dates, although I'm fairly sure of the months. Would I be wasting my time applying?

They only verify non-pilot jobs within the last 2 years. If this was 4 years ago then just ball-park your dates and you will be fine.
