What base has the shortest reserve sit and *generally* the most commutable trips? A friend sent the CRJ lines in ORD and for the most part the trips had really commutable lines. I'm still in ATL, and have thought about moving to DFW, but now may stay because of a short reserve sit and commutability. Has anyone done ATL-ORD?

Back on theme...Embraer if they don't have DFW EMB you can have NY EMB or ORD EMB and wait for the new vacancy bid. There was a bunch of vacancies DFW EMB in this last one. (like 20ish - 30ish, don't remember) For commuting purposes, what would you guys say is easier from DFW: ORD or JFK/LGA? Checking flights it seems there are more between DFW and ORD, plus no time zone change. |

Yeah, that is what I was thinking. I heard if you put in for a transfer early enough you can usually get it by the time you are out of training.
