They will sooner or later. I think that will be or after summer or by the end of the year.

Even after the 600 they want to hire this year? These are crazy times.

Yeah, whoever is my roommate just got rewarded with single occupancy and they don't even know it yet!

I'm willing to bet I won't be the only local guy in training, so a couple of you guys will be getting a room all to yourselves from the start.

I'll be driving out on Sunday afternoon just to meet with everybody and make sure I know how to get to the training center, so I'm sure we will see each other then.

You can get to the Hotel and follow the van the first day. ;)

lol

I also live in Dallas (Frisco, TX). I'm still debating if I should stay in the hotel or not. I think I might end up staying in the hotel so that I don't have to pay for the friggin' tollway everyday!!!

why would anyone want to not sleep in their own bed with their wife? Freaking crazy idiot ;)

Pay the tolls and save the money on food! and youll sleep better, and we ALL know how important sleep is.... Thats a 25 minute drive max up 121

I had the same problem but chose the hotel. When at home, there was always distractions like the wife or her honey-do list. In the hotel there was also the help of a study group. Drinking water through a fire hose was never easy for me and the study group helped.

That is great advice. I would do that or go to the hotel and ride the van the first day.

My first day was July 5th. The 4th was on a Sunday so the 5th was a holiday. Went exactly where VA told me to go and I was there at 7:45am. Every door was locked. Ended up finding someone who took me to the Eagle offices and they took me to the classroom. All in all it took me 20 minutes to find the right room and a door where I could enter the building which made me 5 minutes late. Fortunately the instructor was a couple minutes late also. Being late your first day is not something I was happy about but it worked out.

The great thing about the van is someone is expecting you and will meet your group and take you to the room.

Those who go home every day rather than stay in hotel tend to do not so well in training.
Like some else mention, get ready to drink from that fire hose!
Good luck
