As for reserve time, it's all over the place and dependent on base and equipment. It's hard getting an accurate answer on this from anyone. I know LAX very senior. Just bid the equipment you want and chances are you can get into the base you want pretty quick (except LAX). But make sure you do your homework on what bases have what equipment because you will be seatlocked in the ATR for 1 year and until upgrade in the jets (unless company deems your needed elsewhere). |

Ok, I was just looking at the preliminary award for the bid that closed on 4/28. The vacancy bid showed 9 MCE vacancies but on the preliminary it shows 18 MCE awards. I can't find 9 Backfills. Not that I'm complaining about extra captain vacancies, but what happened?

Eagle emailed me last year (after maybe 4 years of having them targeted) and asked me to fill out their addendum. I didn't. They called me a few days later anyway, and I politely declined. I emailed airlineapps and asked them to remove some previously targeted airlines (Eagle included) which they did. I still get an email last week from Eagle asking me to update my addendum. That's kinda weird :confused: |
Has anyone heard any truth to the rumor that the divestiture is not going to happen now? I'm taking it with a grain of salt, but have heard it a couple times now....
