If you don't find anything amiss, let me know.

Thanks for the advice. I went ahead and printed it. I checked it then had my wife. We couldn't find anything that was not checked or not filled out. I sent an email to airlineapps as well. Hopefully I can get it fixed!

I know there were a couple of sections (I think one was military service maybe) where even if you didn't have any information to enter, you still had to hit "save" before hitting "continue" and I don't think it was stated very clearly that you needed to do this. I'm just as puzzled as you are. This was in the app not the addendum.

Hmmm ill try that! You never know! Ill see if I get a response from airlineapps too. Thanks again for the help!

Just fyi for anyone else who may run into this problem. Airlineapps reviewed my application and found no missing items either. They told me they would contact ae for me!

Hello everybody, Ive been reading this thread with great interest because I am starting class at AE on 5/9.
1. I know at least one person asks this question before every class so I'll be the one to do it this time. Any word on what aircraft and bases will be available for the 5/9 class?
2. what is the average age of people in recent classes?
3. what is the latest on reserve periods for new hires?

Bad choice for a first post... It depends, we also just had a vacancy bid close so the equipment will probably change, also we've had people not pass training. Reserve it depends as well... I have seen 1 week, and I have heard 6 months in other places...

You will find out in 6 days. It's completely out of your control until you show up. Welcome to the airline biz.

Its pretty easy to find answers by clicking the search function or reading threw this thread! People in this thread sound like broken records. This might explain why so many people are failing out of AE training.

FYI- IF you are worried about flying this sim you should change careers. It is the worlds easiest sim. They are even nice enough to let you think and draw out the hold.

Quite the contrary actually. True it's not difficult but if you're not NOT worried at least to some small extent about flying the sim, or the interview process in general, chances are you're either far too arrogant for this job or don't want it badly enough. In either case such a candidate would not make a desirable employee.

+1

You will find out the first day of class what the base/equipment choices are. When you do will you please post them here?

As for reserve time, it's all over the place and dependent on base and equipment. It's hard getting an accurate answer on this from anyone. I know LAX very senior. Just bid the equipment you want and chances are you can get into the base you want pretty quick (except LAX). But make sure you do your homework on what bases have what equipment because you will be seatlocked in the ATR for 1 year and until upgrade in the jets (unless company deems your needed elsewhere).

Age of people has been from 21 to mid 50's. I think last class there was someone 39 or 41 and he was #5. It was also a smaller class than in recent months (I think there were 22).

I'll be in the class following you on 5/23. Good luck!
