Where do you do your IOE? Is it always where you are based?

I am preparing for the interview sim evaluation in a G1000 motion simulator. Does anybody have any good tips for the ride? Is the PNF a sim instructor or another applicant?

Thanks!

I have a question for those of you who have interviewed or been hired recently at AE.

I understand that AE is very strict on paperwork and logbooks, so in the future, if I interview, I DO NOT want this to be a problem for me.

Currently, my app on Airlineapps matches my logbook within 1-2 hours.
Does this need to be exact or am I okay?
How close were your hours to matching on your app and logbook?

For instance: My logbook TT = 1279.8
Airlineapps TT = 1281

Is this acceptable because of the way Airlineapps rounds to the nearest whole number?

Also, if I round my logbook to the nearest whole number:
ASEL matches +/- 1
AMEL matches
PIC matches
Instructor matches
DUAL matches

I suspect that the only numbers that do not match are my ASEL and TT because I have 4 different SEL aircraft listed and all the hours get rounded.

Am I pulling my hair out over nothing? Because this is the best I have been able to do with this stupid website.

Please advise.
Thanks.

Is not another applicant. Don't know if they are sim instructors are not. All you have to do if fly some headings, an ILS and enter a hold. Just be ahead of the airplane and call for the appropriate checklist and be confident in your decision and you will be fine.

I would be more worried about finding a place to eat then the interview thinking back on it.

I might be behind the curve, but some people are saying the eagle spinoff is dead? (for now of course) Is this accurate?
