Straight from the CP mouth. Eagle will now reimburse you for the RJ course if you are low time and do the ATP RJ course. What the is the real meaning of this?

Its funny because its true. Unfortunately we have a lot of very sloppy looking pilots.

What does RJ standardization course do if eagle is going to train u in the sim. Why waste $5000 when eagle is going spend way more money training you for a specific aircraft. I hope u understand my question, why spend more money than u need to?

American Eagle has new minimums:

If you have 800tt and 100 multi
-After receiving the conditional offer you will be placed into the class pool. (nothing new here)

If you have 500tt and 50multi
-After successfully completing the interview process but before being placed in the class pool you must:
1. Sign a 2 year contract
2. Satisfactorily complete ATP’s RJ standardization course (paid for by Eagle)

Hello All!

I am in the July 4th class. :) Just wondering if there is anything I can be looking over to make my life a bit easier over the next few weeks. Any suggestions?

Also, what hotel have they been putting people in? Are they typically extended stay, or at the least have a refrigerator/microwave/oven???

Thanks!

it's a smoke screen for you to sign the contract. I don't know the details, but they may deduct it from your pay, or have to pay it in april when tax time comes, or as you said, get reimbursed, but only after 5 years of employment!!!! YOU GET NOTHING FOR FREE IN LIFE!!!!

Microwave and refrigerator. Good enough to get the job done

There is nothing you can study before coming to training really so just enjoy your time off. You will have plenty of time while here to study if you can stay awake in the evening.
