Ya but that fleet renewal unfortunately doesnt include aircraft for Eagle. They will shrink eagle and IF they relax scope it will be new feed getting the flying and having to acquire their own airplanes to do so AMR isnt liable. Someone said AMR is a control freak, well look at what happened obviously they cannot control anything so they are following everyone else and dumping excess cost from their wholly owned subs. BK is for cutting costs not adding them. Whats a Renual?

By the way, it's YOU'RE. Maybe you should google the definition of hypocrite. It might help that 5th grade education out. I guess you're drinking the same kool-aid too.
Yeah, that's exactly what I did. I cried all night that he had it all figured out. Cruster? hmmmm, I guess you got me all figured out.
Apparently, you didn't read what I wrote. You just jumped right in with your kool-aid stained face, without even reading what I wrote, and assume I have it all figure out too. Well, unfortunately no one has it figured out. It's everyone's guess and opinion as to what is going to happen, but if you look at past situations, as I stated below, history tends to repeat itself when it comes to airline bankruptcies, especially wholly-owns.
Really? I guess it's that 5th grade education making asinine remarks without doing a little research. First of all, XJ was forced into BK (hmmm, looks like BK and XJ do go together) by NW and then later bought by NW. Ask the guys over at XJ how that all fared for them. Then mother DL comes along and sails them down the river with CP. Ask them both who owns several, if not all, of their airplanes. Ask the guys over at ASA what happens when DL wants someone else to fly their planes. Ask any DCI carrier how DL treats them. Eagle hasn't experienced anything what it's like to be on your own. You're definitely going to find out.
All airlines, for the most part have been cutting capacity. How is OH a different ball game? They're owned and on a sinking ship. Go ask those guys too. And for growth? Did OH grow? Did CP and XJ grow? CP is now a staffing company, XJ is in a mess with an airline that hasn't figure out how to merge 1, let alone 3, airlines together, and OH is treading water.
Apparently, you are so blinded by the kool-aid you drink that you don't see OO/EV, YV, RW, 9E/XJ/9L, ZW, and AX/G7/CP, and the rest of regionals waiting in the shadows to come in a take away flying from Eagle. Let's just see if Eagle will even own any aircraft. A lot of you are going to learn the hard way what it's like to be whipsawed against other regional carriers. It's a different ball game now. You pay to play now, which requires cash on hand and Eagle has about $0. In fact, OO is losing money with their US contract just to keep the planes flying and get in with US.
You need to research this industry before you try correcting people about what you have no clue about. Like I said before, I wish everyone there the best of luck. I've got several friends over there.

, and OH is such a completely different ball game is not even intellectually useful to compare them. If we want to be intelligent we should make a statement like, well most airlines shrunk mainline in BK, and saw a growth in regional, so much of Eagles fate relies on if the judge thinks it makes sense to put them at Eagle or to have someone else fly it. Go get a hobby, sitting on here being a crustball is a lame one, and it is not going to get you back whatever you did wrong or had happen to you over the years to make you so crusty.

Hi Guys
I am heading down to jacksonville on friday for my RJ course that Eagle is paying for. I am wondering what this Bankruptcy will do with hiring? Should I worry that I wont get a class date after I pass the RJ course? Do you guys think Eagle will start furloughing? Im just really worried about leaving my job only to be furloughed a couple weeks later. Is it still a smart idea to go to Eagle?

Yeah, I know but you've got a lot of new guys that have no clue. That's why you're the second highest cost now and hopefully you guys can get through this without stepping backwards.

for one TSA does not fly for EGL. Two XJ was a CAL wholly owned not NWA whoever said that. Last I checked CAL has not seen BK since the 90s, yet XJ got spun off in the last 5 years. OH is nothing like anyone else on earth right now.
I would like to hear how the NWA and DAL BKs effected the guys at Compass and Mesaba, because historically those two are the closest thing, as well as PSA and Piedmont at USair. But again none are even close to EGL, because none of them made up 95% of the parents feed.
