JetBlue is moving in to DFW. Alll ATR will be grounded. Basically do away with EX. All employees will have a choice to move to AE or lose job. Grounding all 135s
Half of this is true so far... DFW International Airport Welcomes JetBlue Airways Service to Boston - WFSB Channel 3

JetBlue made the announcement of DFW-BOS today, speculations have been going around for a while. They are bringing the Airbus to DFW, I am not sure how the Airbus will (economically) replace the ATR service out of DFW. AMR has a strong partnership with JetBlue and needs help with Spirits attempt to grow in DFW. Don't be surprised to see JetBlue doing DFW-JFK also, this will free up AA slots to do international. AMR goal is to have Eagle/JetBlue do the domestic feed while AA do the Coast to Coast flying and international. This is what the industry has become, UCal, Delta and US have most of their domestic departures done by regionals to compete with the LCC and keep labor cost down. AMR will work with JetBlue to accomplish most of the domestic flights and have Eagle feed both of them. This is divestifying the feed. By doing this AMR wouldn't have to acquire or have someone acquire allot of RJ. Alaska in the west, JetBlue in the NE and Eagle in between!!!

Tell me how many Q400 aircraft Colgan has to spare, also how many of the next batch of Q400 they will receive are not spoken for by UCal.

If AA is still looking for regional feed, I've wondered the same about other regionals out there and the amount of equipment they have to be able to do it too? Guess they can order more, or just take ours? Either way, it's the unemployment line in the future.

Things are uncertain at this point, we don't know what is going to happen. All we can do is keep options open and fly safe.

Well up till now, I had not answered you, so you were talking to yourself. But got it, however I think he is being sarcastic. There is no reason that an RJ captain should make this much, it should drop to 80k max if flown at guarantee for the year. It hurts everyone for people to stay at this job, and want bigger planes. These high paid captains will be the first one to say they hope to retire on a 100 seat jet.
Well, for the past 11 years there has been only a trickle of hiring at mainline carriers. I think an entire generation of pilots got trapped at regionals, and I for one am glad they were at least able to make a decent income.

They didn't have a choice but still had to feed their families. Here they ate 11 years later at 18 year pay with good schedules and good pay and you want to complain that they aren't getting out of your way?

I don't appreciate the way you quoted the post, if I remember the conversation correctly some stated that no RJ captain was making 6 figures. I stated that we did but with the proposed TA they were looking at possible pay cuts, the second quote isn't mine so please fix the quotes, thank you in advance!!!

Just getting used to this new iPhone and APC app. You're correct, it doesn't look right to me either, but I don't see how to fix it on here yet...

Actually, looking at it again, it clearly is two separate quotes, neither one shows the original author... Us there a way to tag each quote on the iPhone app that will show not only the quote but who us being quoted?

Alpa gave away the transfer of pilots with aircrafts. AMR could furlough and use those planes with new lower pay pilots. There are many ways to get hosed.
