When I interviewed at Pinnacle, the CP who spoke to us asked if anyone interviewed at Eagle, and just chuckled about whatever promises Eagle was making.

That individual, by the way, seems like an awesome guy. Must have been great to fly with...

Judging by his car, pretty damn good.

Got no beef with Eagle (nor my compadres at Colgan or Mesaba ). I know a guy there whom I am hoping won't get furloughed....but what do you guys expect.....Mainline jobs and quick upgrades where historically this has not been the case?? Please. I remember a couple guys (I don't particularly care for) cocking off about how they were GOING to get mainline jobs so fast they might not be around long enough for the *quick* upgrades that were GOING to happen, and I was thinking to myself.."yeah right!"

I wish the best for Eagle pilots....just lay off the Kool Aid wherever you are at. I was made no false promises at my Pinnacle interview, and I respect that!

Do you really think all the new hires at Eagle are that shallow?

You guys aren't that far away from BK either(actually worse than AMR), He might have to return his car and you take a pay cut.

WHERE oh WHERE did I say ALL new hires are like that? Here's a clue...nowhere. You criticize broad statements with broad statements. Nice. Sounds like I am dealing with a real crack unit here...

Wow. A misery loves company statement? YOU stay classy! I wasn't happy when I heard the news about AMR....trying not to stoop to your level at present. Besides GoJet I am a "we're all in this together" type of person, apparently YOU are not. What a jerk thing to say. It's like you want us to suffer. I haven't been so mad in so long.. Wow...just wow.

You know what I did shortly after the AMR BK announcement? Called my Eagle buddy to ask if I could help. What would you do? I have never edited a post so much, there is just so much crap that your posts SMACK of, it's not even funny.

No offense and not defending anyone but you did paint a broad brush with your statement.

Look I will buy that....I should say "you" versus "you guys," a phrase too ingrained in my vernacular. That statement was directed at the poster, and in a round about way the two guys who went to Eagle I was referring to. So a small, small group. But I stand by that statement, does he really expect mainline jobs and lightning upgrades? I hope people get 'em, but history paints a different story.

I don't buy the pilot shortage argument either. Primarily MGT has toooooo many tricks up their sleeve! 'nuff said about that. Mostly, I am not hoping doom and gloom on my pilot compatriots. I can read between the lines as to what RJ (et. al.) is saying. Definitely not the first time I have encountered pilots wishing ill on other pilots. It is as if there isn't enough adversity out there.

If anyone has followed my posts, I was so frickin' mad about the furloughs at TSA!! And then Go Jet guys come and say how they need to feed their family. Something else is going on at GO Jets, wake up!! And then someone spread a rumor about furloughs at Eagle would be done so arbitrarily by equipment instead of by seniority number. I was just furious! I get so mad when pilots get shafted, and I don't even work at those places. About the only thing that gets me more mad is the pilots who gloat about it.

Pilots help pilots. I have definitely been helped by folks on this forum. If my job is jeopardy, I would like to see folks standing up with us, not jeering us!

The old 'I didn't say it verbatim' excuse.

Your ENTIRE post was about Eagle pilots drinking the upgrade and flow to mainline kool aid. Broad statements. Nice.

Your Pinnacle smugness is stinking up the room. See you in the unemployment line.....
