Oh, when the CP asked the interview group what was being told at the AE interviews...well wouldn't know what the reply was? Fast upgrades and mailine jobs! Not blaming the new hires for spreading that...though I highly doubt I have run into the only handful of guys believing it. You never know, things might work out like that for Eagle once this gets sorted out. Godspeed. Again, I DON'T want to see furloughs there. But you want us furloughed?

Twenty years ago when I was at Eagle, the rumor BS was just as hot and heavy as it is today, but what I find very disturbing is the petulant, childish back-and-forth which seems to permeate this thread. I have watched here for months, just to keep a finger in what has been happening at Eagle and here are two predictions: 1) The airline will continue with or without you; and, 2) When the old hats retire or move on, this crop of whiny, loud mouthed, ill-tempered illiterates will begin breaking airplanes and killing people on a weekly basis. The vast majority of you don't deserve CFI jobs in Nigeria. Grow up, you're a disgrace. Okay, now attack me. I couldn't care less.

 

Sir (or ma'am) I applaud this break back to reality. Remember this is a job, not life in high school. We are supposed to be a "professional" industry, yet a large majority of people at the regionals lack this characteristic. I agree that a lot of you need to grow up.

If I get to the point where I am as serious, miserable and hopeless as the majority of the people on here, I'm gonna eat a bullet.

Life is so freaking short and every single one of us on here had been extraordinarily blessed to do what e do even if it's not exactly the perfect picture we painted in our heads.

Life is about family, friends, leisure then work. One day it's all gonna end and I can assure you youre gonna be remembered for the person you are and not because you flew a 767. Take a deep breath and smile. Things could be much much worse.

P.s. I'm concerned that evryone took my previous post seriously....block30 need to put the contradictory posts in check and quit inventing drama or ill will that was never said.
