I've come to find out that they pick and choose what applies to a new hire when it comes to the contract. We are not protected by the union nor do we pay dues so we're just kinda hanging in the breeze. Add on the BK factor and they pretty much have a blank check to do as they please and tape and pillage all the labor groups!

contract stays in effect until the bk judge cancells it.
but then we do have the alpo team on our side, better have another drink and shoot myself. the useless alpo team has dug another hole for us. lets see since this summer two holes the size of the grand canyon. lets vote them in again.

Sorry to hear this guys.

I think I'm more ticked that AE management brought those 20 people to class knowing there was an excellent chance they'd be furloughed. What a bunch of pricks!

Thats the koolade the 1% are feeding you. Nice job buying in. Just like Iraq had WMD, and the bank had to bailed out! Keep buying in, Iran is next, but that will just be paid for with more inflation, and the killing off of social security.

Its always personal, we should treat it that way. Let one of these big business fail, the pain of 40,000 people losing their jobs at once, would be better than 20,000 losing their jobs anyway over 10 years, followed by the top 1% taking close to a billion in cash. Enough is enough! Next will be some airline taking AA feed, and the cracks of crap loving the growth and flying. That flying should go to furloughed Eagle guys at 2nd year pay.

Spoken like a true liberal. Especially the part I bolded... nice sense of entitlement of something not earned.

I'm really sorry to hear this guys... I've jumpseated several times on Eagle, and was always impressed by how professional and personable the crews were. SkyWest is still hiring, I'd be glad to help anybody that wants to come over. Good luck to every one.
