I have to agree with those involved with management or union part, its going to be fairly three fold....x amount of planes we plan on getting rid of, but this much x amount more will come in and do regional feed, now you can take off A which will hurt your wallet but you will see most of them coming to you, take B and lose some get only a few and hurt your wallet a bit less, or take C and you can keep what you have but you will lose those planes, and you will not see a single new one. Its be cheaper than everyone else, or call our bluff and open the box of unknown, which is semi known if you look at DAL.

I don't even know why I go on any airline forum anymore. It's pointless really. People may think they know it all, or have heard all these rumors, but nothing comes to fruition. Everyone is so pessimistic and certain users have some sort of "my regional is better than your regional" syndrome. Look at the past. You didn't see a word on any of these forums about Trans States buying Compass, Skywest buying ASA, or more recently, Skywest picking up Airways flying. I guess the point I'm trying to make here is no one on here really knows what's going to happen at Eagle. And sitting here stressing out about something you read on the forums is pointless. The only ones who knows is AMR. The end result here will probably something no one expected.

Well this is the "Eagle Life" thread so of course we're gonna be a little biased over here 
Anyhow, union Q&A at DFW was interested from what I heard. I was working so I could not attend. However it was mentioned that AMR or American was in Brazil renegotiating lease terms and working on getting some new E175. Nothing can be a done deal until APA stuff is wrapped up.
Also thought it is interesting that they are in talks about a double staple one list. So flame away, I'm just passing along what was said.
