I appreciate your effort to answer my questions!

Well I'm in training right now.

1. I got the call 3 weeks after my interview
2. Took me 2 months from interview to class
3. Training schedule for ERJ:
-1 week in indoc
-1 week of CBT in your home
-1 week of CBT in AA Academy
-1 week of ground school
-I think after that is Written & Oral test
-Couple of days in CSI (cockpit systems integration)
-Sims
-Checkride
-Aloft training
4. We are the second group taking the CBT. I don't know about Compass but it's pretty nice the CBT.
5. I can't tell you since I'm not yet in the line. Hehehehehe

I'm in my 1 week of CBT in home so if something is missing in the schedule I apologize.

There you go..the thread is ON again. :D

Thanks for answering those questions! I knew somebody had it in them

Figured it wasn't worth another thread... thought i'd ask here.

I'm currently a reservist for the Air Force and will be for a while... think this could hurt my employment opportunities with any regional? Kinda concerns me that it would

I highly doubt it would hurt your chances, most people I know in hiring would look on it as positive with regards to your character and dedication.

Thats just my 2 bits though.

Good luck.

Nope. I was in the guard when I got hired (actually still on active duty). There are plenty others still doing the same. You're on the Vipers over at Carswell right? You'll miss a couple UTA's during training, but you can make those up.

When you get to your base, just bring a copy of your UTA schedule and the CP will get it into the computer. Also, if you deploy or do your annual TDY, just drop a copy of your orders and you're covered.

Piece of cake bro.

PilotJ3, Whats aloft training?? ;-)

AmericanEagleFO 12-05-2010 12:03 PM

Not Aloft, it's LOFT. Line Orientated Flight Training. They do a typical flight between JFK and DCA or somewhere like that. It's basically just to let you see how it all comes together for a flight before you hit the line. 1 2hour sim session.
